Atelier İst Aycan Öktem -Yeniden Siirt Defilesi-Yılmaz Parlar

Kadim Medeniyetin İzleri Moda ile Geleceğe Taşındı

Atelier İst Aycan Öktem Koleksiyonu Cemile Sultan Korusu’nda Büyüledi

Siirt’in binlerce yıllık kültürel mirası, geleneksel motifleri, özgün dokuları ve tarihsel hafızası, Atelier İst Aycan Öktem imzasıyla çağdaş moda dünyasında yeniden hayat buldu.

Podyumda Siirt’in Ruhu Vardı

56 parçalık koleksiyon, Siirt’in plaka numarasından ilhamla hazırlanırken, kentin tarihsel ve kültürel kimliğinin farklı unsurlarını tasarımlara taşıdı.

Siirt’in Kültürel Mirası Avrupa Standartlarında Bir Moda Diliyle Buluştu

Renewed Siirt Fashion Show – Atelier İst Aycan Öktem Collection

Traces of an Ancient Civilization Carried into the Future Through Fashion

Atelier İst Aycan Öktem Collection Captivates at Cemile Sultan Grove

Siirt’s thousands of years of cultural heritage, traditional motifs, distinctive textures and historical memory came to life once again in the contemporary fashion world under the signature of Atelier İst Aycan Öktem.

Held on Friday evening, September 25, 2026, at Cemile Sultan Grove, the “Renewed Siirt” fashion show was much more than a fashion presentation; it stood out as an impressive cultural project bringing together culture, art, history, design and social responsibility on the same platform.

One of the most striking elements of the evening was the design language and fabric quality of the Atelier İst Aycan Öktem “Renewed Siirt” collection. Inspired by Siirt’s ancient civilizations, architecture, traditional motifs and archaeological heritage, the designs were reinterpreted through contemporary lines and brought to the runway.

The aesthetic vision of the collection demonstrated that Siirt is not only a city with a deep historical past, but that this heritage can also be transformed into a powerful cultural and economic value in the contemporary world through the right design vision.

The Spirit of Siirt on the Runway

The 56-piece collection was inspired by Siirt’s license plate number and incorporated different elements of the city’s historical and cultural identity into its designs.

Kilims patterns, traditional motifs, architectural traces and the region’s archaeological heritage were reinterpreted through a contemporary fashion perspective. In particular, the inspiration drawn from Gusir Höyük and the ancient history of the Siirt region gave the collection not only an aesthetic dimension but also a powerful narrative.

The variety and quality of the fabrics used in the designs were also among the collection’s most notable features. Alongside satin, chiffon, brocade, silk and sequined fabrics, specially woven fabrics from Siirt were also incorporated, strengthening the collection’s distinctive character.

Some fabrics preserved in family trunks were carefully reintroduced into the designs, creating a meaningful meeting point between the past and the present on the same fabric.

The use of natural dyes, together with the transformation of leftover fabric pieces into products such as bags and wallets, also reflected the collection’s approach to sustainability.

“This Is More Than a Fashion Event”

Speaking at the opening of the evening, fashion designer, architect and Istanbul Aydın University lecturer Aycan Öktem emphasized that the “Renewed Siirt” project was not simply a fashion event showcasing aesthetic designs.

Öktem stated that the evening was a celebration of the revival of an ancient culture and explained that the project has two major objectives.

The first is to support the education of girls who have limited access to educational opportunities in Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia. The second is to contribute to introducing Siirt’s historical and archaeological values to wider audiences and supporting their development as tourism assets.

Aycan Öktem expressed her gratitude to Hüseyin Öktem, one of the project’s major supporters, and emphasized their aim of bringing the cultural heritage inherited from the past together with a modern design language through “Renewed Siirt.”

Öktem also thanked Ferhat Aral and his team for their choreography, as well as all supporters who contributed to the project.

Hüseyin Öktem: “We Can Leave a Legacy That Lasts Longer Than Factories”

Speaking during the evening, Partner Teknik Group Chairman Hüseyin Öktem explained why they supported the project and emphasized that protecting cultural heritage is as important for future generations as industrial investment.

Öktem noted that they have been active in industry and engineering for many years, explaining that while the economic lifespan of factories may be measured in decades, preserving cultural heritage can create a value capable of surviving for centuries.

He stressed that Siirt’s historical wealth should not be viewed merely as a legacy of the past, noting that protecting the region’s archaeological heritage could also create significant opportunities for tourism, investment, employment and economic development.

Referring to Göbeklitepe in his remarks, Hüseyin Öktem noted that archaeological values can attract millions of visitors when properly preserved and promoted, and suggested that Siirt could also create similar awareness around its own historical heritage.

Öktem emphasized that transferring Siirt’s cultural heritage to future generations is not solely the responsibility of public institutions, but a shared responsibility involving the private sector and society as a whole.

Aynur Ayaz Adds Elegance to the Evening

The evening was hosted by TV program producer, news anchor and presenter Aynur Ayaz.

With her elegant appearance, strong stage presence and fluent delivery, Ayaz successfully guided the program throughout the evening. Following her opening remarks, she invited Aycan Öktem to the stage and contributed to the professional atmosphere of the fashion show.

Ayaz’s hosting and PR work for the event also played an important role in presenting the “Renewed Siirt” project to the public.

Siirt’s Cultural Heritage Meets a European-Level Fashion Language

The “Renewed Siirt” fashion show demonstrated that the project goes far beyond simply promoting local values.

The quality of the fabrics, originality of the designs, contemporary interpretations of traditional motifs and the collection’s overall aesthetic language revealed the potential of Siirt’s cultural heritage as a powerful source of inspiration for the international fashion world.

In this respect, the collection is not limited to promoting Siirt’s cultural values within Türkiye. It also has the potential to become the starting point for a brand story capable of contributing to the international visibility of Turkish design in the future.

The reinterpretation of motifs inspired by Siirt’s ancient civilizations through modern garments represents a remarkable approach: rather than preserving the past merely as a nostalgic memory, it transforms that heritage into part of the design language of the future.

Fashion, Culture and Education United in One Project

One of the most meaningful aspects of “Renewed Siirt” was the project’s combination of fashion and culture with a social responsibility mission.

The project’s aim of contributing to educational opportunities for girls with limited access to education carried the fashion show beyond the boundaries of a conventional fashion event.

Thus, the runway presented not only garments, but also the history of a city, women’s craftsmanship, cultural heritage, sustainability and a social responsibility vision focused on children’s education.

In this respect, “Renewed Siirt” represents an effort to transform inspiration drawn from the past into social benefit for the future.

Opening the Door to a New Brand Story for Siirt

As highlighted during the earlier press meeting, the project’s long-term vision is to bring together Siirt’s history, culture, gastronomy, textile heritage and traditional values within a single brand story.

This holistic approach, extending from the city’s gastronomic heritage to its cultural legacy and from traditional motifs to contemporary designs, aims to position “Siirt” not merely as a geographical name, but as a cultural brand value.

At this point, the “Renewed Siirt” project presents significant potential.

With the right production, branding and international promotion strategies, Siirt’s distinctive motifs and textile heritage could form the foundation of one of Türkiye’s emerging cultural fashion brands.

More Than a Fashion Show

The “Renewed Siirt” evening at Cemile Sultan Grove offered audiences much more than a fashion show.

History was transformed into fabric, culture into design, tradition into modernity, and social responsibility into a vision for the future.

Created through the collaboration of Atelier İst Aycan Öktem and Partner Teknik Group, the project demonstrated how Siirt’s thousands of years of history can be reinterpreted through the aesthetic language of today and transformed into a contemporary cultural value.

The designs, fabric quality and modern interpretations of traditional motifs created a powerful visual unity, while the project’s educational and cultural heritage dimensions added a deeper meaning to the evening.

“Renewed Siirt” will be remembered as a remarkable cultural initiative that looks to Siirt’s past while designing its future, transforming culture into fashion, fashion into social responsibility, and social responsibility into brand value.

Born from Siirt’s ancient civilizations, this story has the potential, with the right steps, to become an authentic Turkish brand story recognized not only across Türkiye but around the world.

Interfresh Eurasia 2026-Yılmaz Parlar

  Interfresh Eurasia 2026

Fuarcılık Türkiye’nin Üretim ve İhracat Gücünü Dünyaya Taşıyor

Interfresh Eurasia 2026, 80’in Üzerinde Ülkeden Alıcıları İzmir’de Buluşturdu

“Bay Fuar” Murat Özer’in Uluslararası Organizasyon Başarısı

“Bay Fuar” Murat Özer’in Uluslararası Organizasyon Başarısı

Interfresh Eurasia’nın bugün ulaştığı uluslararası ölçekteki yapının arkasındaki önemli isimlerden biri ise ANTEXPO Fuarcılık A.Ş. Genel Koordinatörü Murat Özer oldu.

Sektörde “Bay Fuar” olarak anılan Özer’in koordinasyonunda büyüyen Interfresh Eurasia, yıllar içerisinde yalnızca katılımcı sayısını artıran bir organizasyon değil, Türkiye’nin yaş meyve-sebze sektörünü uluslararası alıcılarla buluşturan önemli bir ticaret platformuna dönüştü.

Özer, fuarın açılışında yaptığı değerlendirmede, Interfresh Eurasia’nın uluslararası niteliğinin her yıl daha da güçlendiğine dikkat çekti. Yurt dışından gelen alıcı sayısının 2018’den bu yana yüzde 300 arttığını belirten Özer, bu yıl 80’in üzerinde ülkeden 580’in üzerinde yabancı alıcıyı ağırladıklarını ve fuar süresince 1.300’den fazla ikili iş görüşmesinin planlandığını ifade etti.

Bu rakamlar, Murat Özer’in fuarcılık anlayışının yalnızca bir organizasyon gerçekleştirmekten ibaret olmadığını; Türkiye’nin üretim gücünü doğrudan uluslararası ticaret bağlantılarına dönüştürmeyi amaçlayan bir model üzerine kurulduğunu gösteriyor.

Özer’in hedefi ise Interfresh Eurasia’yı uluslararası alanda sektörün önemli vitrinlerinden biri haline getirmek.

İzmir’in Tarım Master Planı Hazırlanıyor

Açılışta konuşan İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi Başkan Vekili Dr. Zafer Levent Yıldır, yerel yönetim olarak tarımsal üretimin her aşamasında üreticilerin yanında olduklarını belirtti.

Ege Bölgesi’nin Türkiye’nin tarımsal ihracatındaki güçlü konumuna vurgu yapan Yıldır, üreticilere ve tarımsal hizmetlerin her aşamasına destek vermeye devam edeceklerini belirtti.

Gecenin adresi, İzmir Narlıdere Sahilevleri’nde bulunan Times Event & More oldu.

Palmiyelerin altında, doğal dekorasyon anlayışıyla hazırlanmış geniş ve ferah atmosferiyle dikkat çeken mekân, davetlilere açık hava konsepti içerisinde keyifli bir akşam yaşattı.

Gala gecesinde sunulan yemekler de davetlilerden beğeni toplarken, organizasyon fuarın yoğun ticari temposunun ardından sektör temsilcilerini daha sosyal bir ortamda buluşturdu.

Dünya Markası Times İzmir’de

Mekân hakkında bilgi veren firma sahibi Murat Yeniçeri, Times markasının New York, Worms ve Milano gibi farklı şehirlerde de bulunduğunu belirterek İzmir şubesinin markanın Avrupa ve Amerika sonrasındaki yeni duraklarından biri olduğunu ifade etti.

Yeniçeri, İzmir Sahilevleri’ndeki projede Times Sahne, Times Şef ve Times Garden olmak üzere üç farklı konseptin bir arada bulunduğunu belirtti.

Modern gastronomi anlayışıyla geleneksel et restoranı kültürünü birleştirdiklerini ifade eden Yeniçeri, şeflerin modern dokunuşlarıyla hazırlanan yemeklerin markanın önemli özelliklerinden biri olduğunu söyledi.

Gala gecesinde işletme hakkında davetlilere bilgi veren Times Event & More Direktörü Alev Kersin, mekânın konsepti, hizmet anlayışı ve organizasyon hazırlıkları hakkında değerlendirmelerde bulunurken, davetlilerin gece boyunca keyifli bir atmosfer yaşaması için titizlikle çalışıldığını belirtti.

“Mr. Exhibition” Murat Özer’s International Organizational Success

Interfresh Eurasia 2026, which carries Türkiye’s production and export strength in agriculture, food, and the fresh fruit and vegetable sectors to international markets, opened its doors in Izmir for the third time.

Hosted by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and organized by ANTEXPO Fuarcılık A.Ş. at Fuar Izmir, the event went beyond being a traditional exhibition where products are simply displayed. It brought producers, exporters, buyers, logistics companies, technology providers, and industry professionals together on a common trade platform.

Agriculture, Trade, Gastronomy and Exhibition Industry Come Together Under One Roof in Izmir

With its three-day program, Interfresh Eurasia 2026 was not only an international meeting point for the fresh fruit and vegetable sector.

Bringing together agriculture, exports, logistics, packaging, technology, gastronomy and the exhibition industry under the same organizational roof, the event once again demonstrated Izmir’s potential in international trade and exhibition activities.

Hundreds of foreign buyers from more than 80 countries, thousands of industry professionals, and numerous business meetings once again highlighted the strategic importance of the exhibition industry for the Turkish economy.

Within this framework, the organizational performance demonstrated by Murat Özer, General Coordinator of ANTEXPO Fuarcılık, and his team emerged as one of the key factors strengthening Interfresh Eurasia’s ambition to develop into a broader international trade platform in the future.

The core objective of Interfresh Eurasia is clear: to connect Türkiye’s production power with global markets, establish new commercial partnerships, and transform Izmir into one of the major centers of international agricultural trade.

Held from September 8 to 10, 2026, the exhibition aimed to bring Türkiye’s export potential in the fresh fruit and vegetable sector to global markets, hosting more than 580 foreign buyers from over 80 countries in Izmir. More than 1,300 bilateral business meetings were planned as part of the organization.

This aspect of the exhibition once again demonstrated that the exhibition industry is not limited to promotional and display activities. Well-planned international exhibitions play a strategic role in discovering new markets, establishing export connections, facilitating knowledge and technology transfer between sectors, and increasing Türkiye’s visibility in international trade.

“Mr. Exhibition” Murat Özer’s International Organizational Success

One of the key figures behind the international scale that Interfresh Eurasia has reached today is Murat Özer, General Coordinator of ANTEXPO Fuarcılık A.Ş.

Known in the industry as “Mr. Exhibition,” Özer has overseen the growth of Interfresh Eurasia, transforming it over the years from an event focused simply on increasing exhibitor numbers into an important trade platform connecting Türkiye’s fresh fruit and vegetable sector with international buyers.

In his remarks at the opening of the exhibition, Özer emphasized that the international character of Interfresh Eurasia has continued to strengthen each year. Stating that the number of international buyers has increased by 300 percent since 2018, Özer said that this year they hosted more than 580 foreign buyers from over 80 countries and planned more than 1,300 bilateral business meetings throughout the exhibition.

These figures demonstrate that Murat Özer’s approach to the exhibition industry is not merely about organizing an event; rather, it is based on a model aimed at directly transforming Türkiye’s production power into international trade connections.

Özer’s goal is to make Interfresh Eurasia one of the sector’s prominent international showcases. The designation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) as the partner country and Denizli as the partner city this year was also among the steps strengthening the exhibition’s regional and international scope.

Agricultural Exports Reach $21.7 Billion

Dr. Mehmet Ali Kılıçkaya, Director General of Exports at the Ministry of Trade, said exhibitions serve as important trade meeting points for exporters.

Kılıçkaya announced that Türkiye’s agricultural exports increased by 4.8 percent to $21.7 billion during the first eight months of 2026, adding that the fresh fruit and vegetable sector and related processed products also demonstrated strong export performance.

These figures demonstrate Türkiye’s potential to become a stronger player in global markets, not only through agricultural production for domestic consumption but also through expanding its international market presence.

Ersin Tatar Emphasizes the TRNC

Ersin Tatar, the 5th President of the TRNC, stated that the TRNC has significant agricultural production potential and emphasized the importance of Interfresh Eurasia in bringing TRNC products to global markets.

Kemal Kaçmaz, Chairman of the National Citrus Council, also highlighted that new business connections and commercial agreements established during the exhibition would contribute to producers, exporters, and the national economy.

TRNC Partner Country, Denizli Partner City

At Interfresh Eurasia 2026, the TRNC was designated as the partner country, while Denizli was selected as the partner city.

This choice demonstrated the organizers’ aim to go beyond an exhibition centered solely on Izmir and bring together Türkiye’s different production regions and important agricultural production centers of the Turkish world within an international trade network.

Protocol Tour at Fuar Izmir

Following the opening ceremony, protocol members and industry representatives visited the exhibition stands.

They received information about exhibitors’ products, production technologies, packaging solutions, storage systems, and logistics services, while exchanging views with industry representatives.

These visits once again demonstrated that the exhibition is not merely a display area but also a meeting point for ideas, technologies and commercial connections shaping the future of the sector.

Pizza Excitement at Interfresh Eurasia

Special Event by the Türkiye Pizza Academy

On the final day of Interfresh Eurasia 2026, one of the notable events from the world of gastronomy will be added to the exhibition program.

The pizza competition to be held on Thursday, September 10, will be organized by the Türkiye Pizza Academy. The jury will be chaired by Vasfi Pakman, President of the Turkish Federation of Flavor Associations.

Behind the organization are Şahin Çiftçi, founder of the Türkiye Pizza Academy, and Umberto Napolitano, a world pizza acrobatics champion and one of the key figures behind the German National Pizza Team organization.

Şahin Çiftçi’s Pizza Journey from Germany to Türkiye

Şahin Çiftçi, founder of the Türkiye Pizza Academy, is a professional who developed his extensive experience in pizza making in Germany and achieved rankings in international competitions.

Çiftçi opened his own pizza restaurant in Berlin in 2005. He finished third in the German Pizza Championship in 2015 and won first place at the German Pizza Championship held in Berlin in 2016.

Following these achievements, Çiftçi met world pizza acrobatics champion Umberto Napolitano, was invited to join the German National Pizza Team, and began competing for Germany in world championships.

Türkiye Pizza Academy Trains a New Generation of Chefs

The joint work of Şahin Çiftçi and Umberto Napolitano was later brought to Türkiye.

The 1st Türkiye Pizza Championship, held on October 19, 2024, attracted strong participation, demonstrating the potential and growing interest in pizza in Türkiye.

Following this experience, the Türkiye Pizza Academy was established with the aim of training professional pizza chefs, organizing workshops and educational programs, and bringing technical knowledge to the sector.

Pizza: From Antiquity to Global Cuisine

Pizza, consumed today in different forms in almost every country around the world, has a long gastronomic history with roots extending back to Ancient Greek and Roman times.

Naples, in particular, became a major center in the development of modern pizza. In 1889, pizza chef Raffaele Esposito prepared a pizza featuring tomatoes, mozzarella and basil for Queen Margherita of Italy. It later became identified with Margherita pizza, one of the world’s best-known pizza varieties.

Over time, pizza crossed Italy’s borders and was reinterpreted according to different culinary traditions around the world, particularly in the United States. The Neapolitan pizza-making tradition was added to the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2017.

For this reason, the pizza competition at Interfresh Eurasia is not merely a gastronomic contest; it represents a special event where education, professional development, international experience and gastronomic culture come together.
